There's another reason that it takes awhile to set up. There's always problems. This weekend wasn't any different. I got the compressor out to make sure it was ready for Jack. Sure enough, the main valve had rusted closed since we skipped last year and I had to go get a new one and install it. |

For those who don't know, this is Jack. He's about 8' in diameter and weighs a few hundred pounds. His eyes light and his mouth moves. There are only 5 in the world, and one is here in Jaffrey. It's an animatronic robot that runs off of compresors, cd's (data and audio), and the kids love him. We've recorded a few different scripts for him over the years. He takes a lot of prep work though. We'll see him here later. |

With all of the electricty we use during Halloween and Xmas (PSNH loves us), I had to wire 6 separate circuits around the house outside. Even then I still have little boo-boo's and have to replace outlets. This weekend wasn't any different. Somehow we got just a little bit of water in there and that's all she wrote. |

As the sun goes down, the lights come alive. Even though my camera isn't the best, you can still see the orange glow coming from the graveyard |
