(Kem and friends have now appeared in the realm of the fairies. They find themselves on a cliff above an ocean. The sky is cloudy and it's raining. They all look really mad about appearing where they did.)

Mew: Couldn't you have taken us someplace sunny? My human body has really pale skin. Not as bad as Mew Two, though.

Mew Two: That's not important, Mew. We need to find the Dream Princess.

Kem: Shouldn't we find out where we are BEFORE we go looking for other people?

Kuja: Yes. Where are we?

Shimmer: We're at the Ocean of Darkness.

Kem: Why do they call it that?

Stardust: Look at the water. It's black.

(They all look down at the ocean. Sure enough the water is black.)

Mystic: Gross! What happened?

Stardust: It's evil.

Blossom: The water?

Shimmer: Yeah. It turned black because of all the evil in it.

Lightning: Why did you put so much evil there?

Stardust: We didn't put it there!

Thunder: Who did?

Mew Two: Does that really matter?

Thunder: Yes it does!

Shimmer: It's okay, Mew Two! You see, Thunder, the evil is in the water because of all the evil spirits around here.

evil Thunder: Is this like the evil people hang out spot or something?

Stardust: Kinda. You see, most of the evil people in our dimension live in this area. That's why it's called the Ocean of Darkness.

Blossom: Why do they all live here? Is this like a ghetto or something?

Shimmer: No. We don't force them to live here. They chose to come here. They gain strength from the dark energy in the water.

Thunder: But what made the water evil in the first place?

Stardust: The evil in the water is the evil energy that came off all the evil creatures that ever lived here.

Mew: And sometimes it comes out of the water and gives strength to the evil creatures that live here now?

Stardust: Right.

Thunder: I get it!

Kuja: No wonder I feel so nice here.

Shimmer: Why would you feel nice in an evil place?

Kem: He's an evil sorcerer.

Stardust: Then why are you hanging out with him?

Kuja: They're friends. I'll be nice to them, but not anyone else.

Shimmer: Okay...

Mew Two: Any way...

Kem: Right. We have a job to do. Which way to that castle?

Mew: It's a palace.

Kem: What ever. They're the same thing.

Mew Two: Actually, Kem, that's not true.

Kem: What's the difference then?

Mew Two: Palaces are one structure. Castles are one or more smaller structures inside a wall.

(Kem hits him.)

Mew Two: Ouch! What was that for!?

Kem: Correcting me. Now, lets go.

Stardust: Right. The Palace of Dreams is to the west, across the ocean.

Kuja: I guess we'll be needing a boat, then.

Mew: Where do we get a boat around here?

Shimmer: If I remember right, there's a boat house over that way.

(She points down the cliff to the beach.)

Kem: Okay. Come on.

(They begin walking down the path towards the beach. Meanwhile, Serenity is entering a cave near the palace.)

Serenity: *muttering* That lousy dream princess is going to get it from me! I'll teach her...

Jaice: Hey!

(She turns to see Jaice following her.)

Serenity: What do you want? I thought I told you to get out of here.

Jaice: Ummmmmm.... Well, I just wanted to say.... Uhhhhh.... "bye" to you.

Serenity: Why?

Jaice: Ummmmm..... You were my sister for a whole year.

Serenity: I guess. Fine. Bye.

Jaice: Uhhhhh..... Are you going to see my real sister?

Serenity: What's it to you?

Jaice: Well, I was kinda hoping that maybe you would let her go, is all.

Serenity: Hell no! If she is set free, my entire plan will fall apart!

Jaice: But-

Serenity: But nothing! Now get out of here before I lock you up, too!

Jaice: Fine. Lock me up. I don't care.

Serenity: What!?

Jaice: I'm not leaving without Phoebe, stupid!

Serenity: Fine.

(She uses her powers to knock the boy out. She summons one of her guards. He rushes over.)

Serenity: (pointing at Jaice) Pick this up and follow me.

Guard: Yes, ma'am!

(He picks up Jaice and follows Serenity into the cave. They walk in silence for a minute.)

Serenity: Are Naraku and Sesshomaru still waiting for me in the dining hall?

Guard: I believe so, you majesty.

Serenity: Hmmmmmm.... Maybe I should send them after that girl...

Guard: That girl?

Serenity: No... It's nothing. I must find out from the Dream Princess where the Dream Crystal really is!

Guard: What will you do with her brother?

Serenity: Throw him the cell with his sister. Then I'll give Sesshomaru and Naraku their next mission.

Guard: Yes, my lady.

(They continue walking. Back with Kem and friends...)

Kem: But we need the boat really bad!

Demon: I don't care. I don't lend my boats to no do gooder, human kids.

Kem: Do you realize who you're talking to!? I'm the chosen one!

Demon: Oh really?

Kem: Yeah. I'm the chosen one and I'm going to save this world and mine from scum like you! But first I need to borrow a freaking boat!

Demon: Listen, little miss chosen one, I'm not lending you a boat, now you and your friends need to get out of here!

Kem: Grrrrrr.... Two! Take care of him!

Mew Two: Fine.

Demon: What's that toothpick going to do to me?

(Mew Two uses his mind powers to paralyze the demon. Kem sticks her tongue out at him and walks past. The others quickly follow. Mew Two throws the demon and walks after the others. They get into the biggest boat they can find and shove off. Once they get out about 100 feet, the demon stands on the dock and yells at them.)

Demon: You lousy kids! I'll make you sorry you crossed me! Just you wait!

Kem: (rolling her eyes) I'm sure. Any way, someone turn this thing west and lets get to that- (glaring at Mew Two) PALACE already.

(They sail west into the setting sun. They continue to sail well into the night. While everyone is asleep, Blossom is sitting on the deck. I don't know if she ever sleeps...)

Blossom: Narrator...

(Sorry.)

Blossom: Jeeze... I'm not tired. I wish I could sleep like everyone else. (pause) It's probably better I'm awake. I can keep watch. Not that there's a whole lot I can do in this body...

(She stares at her hands. Behind her, Kuja is coming onto the deck.)

Kuja: Well, if it isn't Blossom.

(She looks up from her hands over at Kuja.)

Blossom: Hi.

Kuja: What are you doing? Shouldn't you be getting some rest?

Blossom: (looking out to sea) I'm not tired.

Kuja: Mumsy used to tell me that when you can't sleep, it means something is bothering you. Is something bothering you, Blossom?

Blossom: Nothing I want to talk to you about.

Kuja: Why don't you want to talk to me?

Blossom: You're Kuja. You wanted me dead 6 months ago.

Kuja: That was 6 months ago. You can talk to me now. We're all friends here.

Blossom: I still don't trust you.

Kuja: What am I going to have to do to prove to you that I'm on your side now?

Blossom: Why do you care if I don't trust you?

Kuja: I'm just trying to help you. You'll never get any sleep if you don't talk about your problem.

Blossom: Well... Do you promise you won't try to kill me or anything mean like that?

Kuja: I promise.

Blossom: Well, I feel so useless.

Kuja: What ever do you mean?

Blossom: Well, I'm a Charizard. They're big and scary and everyone always runs away and stuff like that, but now no one is afraid of me.

Kuja: I still think you're scary.

Blossom: You're also pretty scary yourself.

Kuja: You do have a point there.

Blossom: Any way, I don't like being human any more. I guess I can't sleep because I'm afraid that I'll never be turned back and that I'll be useless forever.

Kuja: You're not useless.

Blossom: Yes I am. I can't fly, I can't hit anything without having to be worried about breaking a nail because that really hurts, and I'm not even sure if I can use my fire powers at all.

Kuja: That's not important. The reason I'm here is to fight that sorceress, so that is none of your concern. And besides, if the others need you, I know you'll put your fear of breaking a nail aside to help out. You aren't useless.

Blossom: You really think so?

Kuja: I know it. And I know that Mew Two hates the human thing as much as you do and as soon as he gets the chance he'll do what he can to turn you all back.

Blossom: You're right. I worry about some dumb stuff sometimes.

Kuja: That's okay.

(They sit in silence for a minute.)

Kuja: Say, what's this I hear about you and Mew Two-

(Blossom hits him hard in the back of the head.)

Kuja: Ow!

Blossom: I don't know what Mew told you, but she was lying!

Kuja: Okay! Okay! You don't have to hurt me!

Blossom: Mew Two is a jerk and I don't like him!

Kuja: Okay! I believe you.

Blossom: No you don't.

Kuja: I do! I really do!

Blossom: What ever. I'm going to bed.

(She goes into the cabin. Kuja stays on the deck and rubs his head where Blossom had hit him. After a few minutes, he hears a scream from inside the cabin and some laughing. Mew runs out. She's soaked.)

Kuja: What happened to you?

Mew: Blossom poured water all over me! I'm soaked!

Kuja: That's too bad.

Mew: (wringing out her clothes) I don't even know what her deal is. Gosh.

Kuja: Well, I think I'm going back to bed.

Mew: Good night. *muttering* Stupid Blossom....

(Kuja goes into the cabin. Mew Two and Kem come out. They look at Mew, exchange confused glances, and shake their head)

Kem and Mew Two: I'm NOT going to say anything.

(They both go back inside. Mew follows. The rest of the night is fairly quiet. Thunder the Pikachu was looking for the bathroom and fell overboard and had to be rescued, but not much else went down. The next day...)

evil Thunder: There's some land!

Mystic: Aren't you supposed to say "land ho?"

(Thunder and Mew start giggling.)

Kem: Stop that!

Thunder: (laughing) But she said "Land ho."

Mew: (laughing) Land ho!

(They fall over laughing.)

Lightning: Are they laughing at the words "land ho" or Mystic trying to at like a pirate?

Thunder: A little of both.

Mew: Mostly the "land ho" part.

(They laugh some more.)

Kem: ANY WAY, there is land that way. I bet that's where we want to be. How far from there is the palace?

Stardust: Well, we should land just outside the Forest of Bad Dreams.

evil Thunder: The Forest of Bad Dreams?

Stardust: Yes. Then, we will have to go through the Valley of the Fairies into Nightmare Valley, where the Palace of Dreams is located.

Shimmer: If we walk quickly and cautiously over most of it, that should only take about a month.

Everyone: A MONTH!?

Stardust: Well, no one has ever made it out of the Forest of Bad Dreams alive, so we figured that we should take it really, REALLY slow. The rest will go by really fast.

Kem: As the chosen one, I get to decide what to do and I think we should run through the Forest of Bad Dreams as fast as possible. If everyone that goes in there dies or something similar to that, I don't want to hang out there for very long.

Shimmer: But-

Kem: The chosen one has spoken.

Stardust: Okay. If that's what you want, we'll hurry through.

Kem: Great! Well, get ready everybody. We're almost there.

(The boat continues ahead towards the forest.)
