(Back at the Palace of Dreams, Princess Serenity is sitting around a table with Naraku, Sesshomaru, and her brother, Jaice. Serenity is stirring sugar into her drink while Jaice is asking annoying questions to their guests.)

Jaice: What's your name again?

Naraku: I am Naraku, and this is Sesshomaru.

Jaice: Those are dumb names. Why do you have such dumb names?

Serenity: Jaice!

Sesshomaru: He's only a child. Don't be so angry at him.

Jaice: I'll have you know I'm 8 years old, mister!

Sesshomaru: 8? My goodness. That IS old. Please forgive me, sir (sarcasm).

Jaice: You stop mocking me! I could have you killed.

Sesshomaru: Oh really?

Jaice: Yeah! I'm royalty! Members of royal families do stuff like that all the time!

Serenity: Jaice! Hush! They were about to explain their plan to me.

Naraku: That's right. So you be quiet, you little weed.

Jaice: (jumping up out of his chair) Okay, monkey man! I've had it with you!

Naraku: And what are YOU going to do about it?

Jaice: I'm- Ummmmmm.... Going to.... Throw this sugar cube at you!

(He throws a sugar cube at Naraku. It bounces off the monkey suit. He rolls his eyes at Jaice.)

Sesshomaru: ANY WAY, tell Princess Serenity our plan.

Naraku: Well, the plan was to put out all the humans using your magic sleep control powers to control them so they would build us a neat castle and recognize us as their leader.

Serenity: That's your plan?

Naraku: Basically. Don't you like it?

Sesshomaru: You putting them to sleep and controlling them was the main focus of this plan, but-

Serenity: I do most of the work but you get the same amount of reward as I do? How is THAT fair?

Naraku: It made sense when we first came up with it....

Serenity: *sigh* I thought you had a real plan.

Sesshomaru: We'll do our share. As I tried to say a moment ago, Naraku forgot the other part of the plan.

Naraku: The other part?

Sesshomaru: The crystal...

Naraku: Oh right! The Dream Crystal! Me and Sesshomaru were going to find that crystal while you made everyone sleep.

Serenity: *thinking* That's it! *speaking again* The Dream Crystal? You mean the crystal that gives it's holder a great and mysterious power?

Sesshomaru: That's the one. That is how we will control the humans once we allow them to wake up.

Serenity: *thinking* This is almost too good to be true! *speaking again* I've heard of the Dream Crystal. It was stored here in the Palace of Dreams until it was stolen by a sorcerer of Dragon Magic.

Naraku: You would happen to know where it is now, would you?

Jaice: She just said it was stolen, stupid!

Naraku: That doesn't mean she doesn't know where it is now.

Serenity: Yes, Jaice. It was stolen almost 400 years ago. That sorcerer took the crystal for his master, another sorcerer, who sold the crystal to a man that owned a museum. The crystal was in that museum for around 50 years until it was stolen by a burglar. The burglar then sold the crystal to a private collector, who held it until his death 25 years later. It remained in his family until the death of the last member of that family 78 years ago. Then it was sold in an auction to an unknown buyer. After the unknown buyer left the auction hall, they were never seen or heard from again. So, the crystal's current location is unknown.

Sesshomaru: Okay.... Where's the last place the crystal was known to be?

Serenity: An auction hall in Viridian City, but do recall that that was 78 years ago. Who knows if that auction hall exists any more or if the records are still around.

Sesshomaru: Don't worry about that. Just have fun playing around with people's dreams. Naraku and I will find the Dream Crystal.

Naraku: We will?

Sesshomaru: Yes. We'll go now. We will return once we have secured the crystal. (Getting up) Thank you for your assistance. We shall return. Come, Naraku.

Naraku: (getting up) Okay. We'll be back! Bye now!

(Sesshomaru rolls his eyes at Naraku. Naraku gives him a confused look. Sesshomaru shakes his head and leaves the room. Naraku quickly follows.)

Serenity: *Thinking* Too easy...
