(Our Pokémon friends (in their human bodies) are sitting on the porch discussing the information Mew Two and Blossom returned to them with.)

Mew: We send you to find real clues and you come back with a book of fairy tales!?

Lightning: This is so not like you, Mew Two.

Mew Two: I know it sounds strange, but it's all we have to work with now.

evil Thunder: Mew Two! You have got to be kidding me! Those stories aren't real! Somebody made them up to entertain idiot children! There is NO way they can help us.

Blossom: But the story in the book happened just like what happened last night. Minus the Pokémon turning into humans thing...

Thunder: Really?

Mew Two: Yes. The story describes a purple cloud made of plant spores and humans being placed into a deep sleep.

Mystic: Are you sure we don't have some lunatic that's obsessed with fairy tales trying to take over the world?

evil Thunder: That sounds much more likely than that story actually coming to life.

Mew Two: If your theory is correct, where did that obsessive lunatic get a hold of a plant that would put the entire population of this city, and maybe even the whole world, to sleep?

Mystic: That's what you were supposed to find out.

Mew Two: I did my best, but this is all I can come up with.

evil Thunder: Well your best is a major let down.

Mystic: Yeah. According to your logic, there's a magical fairy on the loose putting people to sleep.

Blossom: He never said anything about a fairy.

(A bright flash of light brightens the area for a brief second. As our friends rub their eyes to get the sight back, they see 2 small fairies floating in front of them.)

Mystic and evil Thunder: Sorry, Mew Two.

Mew Two: Don't worry about it.

Shimmer and Stardust: Hi!

Mew: Hi! Who are you?

Stardust: I'm Stardust and this is my friend Shimmer.

Shimmer: Hi!

Stardust: We need you to take us to Kem right away!

Lightning: What do you want with Kem?

Shimmer: We came from our dimension to wake her up! Her spirit is trapped there and she needs to come back here.

Stardust: For that to happen, we need to wake her up.

Mew Two: Okay... But do you think you can explain to us what is happening?

Shimmer: Of course! But we need to wake Kem first!

Mew Two: Fine. Follow me.

(Mew Two leads the fairies into the house. The others eagerly follow. Mew Two takes them to the living room where Kem is lying on the couch.)

Mew Two: Here she is.

Shimmer: It looks just like her!

Stardust: Of course it does! Now, lets wake her up!

Mew: I thought you were going to explain things!

Shimmer: We will, silly! Just wait a second.

(The fairies float around Kem dropping fairy dust on her. They do this for 10 or 15 minutes before Kem starts to move.)

Kem: (opening her eyes) What... Happened...

Stardust: It's us, Kem!

Kem: What? Hey! It's the fairies! You guys woke me up! Thanks!

Shimmer: *giggling* Don't worry about it!

Mew Two: Okay. What's going on?

Kem: I'd like to ask the same question! Why are you all human!?

Mew Two: It's a really long story and I don't have the answer for you now. Can you just explain what happened around here?

Kem: Well... Okay...

(Kem and the fairies tell them about Princess Serenity and Sorceress Serenity and the Dream Crystal.)

evil Thunder: Wow, Two. You're crazy fairy tale idea was right on.

Mew Two: Do you know where this sorceress is?

Stardust: We don't, but Shimmer can go ask Crystal. She will know.

Shimmer: Okay! I'll be right back!

(The fairy flies away.)

Kem: Okay. You guys told me that I need to stop Sorceress Serenity.

Stardust: Yeah.

Kem: How do I do that?

Stardust: You're the chosen one. We just kinda figured that you would be able to figure that out on your own.

Kem: Great....

Mew Two: Don't worry, Kem. You have us on your side.

Blossom: We can take that evil sorceress any day! Even in our human forms!

Lightning: Yeah! Just show us the way.

Stardust: Shimmer will be back to tell us that any minute now.

(While our friends heckle Stardust for more information, Shimmer is just arriving in the Valley of the Fairies.)

Shimmer: Crystal! CRYSTAL!

Crystal: (flying over to her) I'm here, Shimmer. I see you have awakened Kem.

Shimmer: We have. Stardust sent me back to ask you where Sorceress Serenity is hiding.

Crystal: Oh. Well, I'm really not totally sure. All I can tell you is that it's in the mountains near a big city, not far from Kem's town.

Shimmer: Which direction from Kem's town?

Crystal: North. This mountain has many lake filled valleys and dark caverns.

Shimmer: Okay. I'll tell Kem. Maybe that will help.

Crystal: I hope it does....

Shimmer: What's the matter, Crystal?

Crystal: I was just thinking about that other prophecy.

Shimmer: Which one?

Crystal: The one about the lost princess.

Shimmer: What about it?

Crystal: Do you think we need to find her before Kem tries to fight Serenity?

Shimmer: No way! Kem is the chosen one! She can do anything!

Crystal: I bet you're right... Please help Kem defeat Serenity.

Shimmer: Don't worry! Me and Stardust will take care of everything!

Crystal: Okay! Good-bye until later!

Shimmer: Right!

(She heads off. Back with Kem...)

Kem: Why do I feel like this is going to be really hard?

Mew: Defeating the forces of evil is never easy, Kem. You should know that.

Mystic: Yeah. You guys beat up evil bad guys all the time. When was it ever easy?

Kem: No. I mean I feel like this isn't something we can do alone.

Thunder: Why do you think that?

Kem: I'm not sure... I just think that we'll need help.

Mew Two: From who?

Kem: Not sure.

Mew: For what?

Kem: I don't know! It's just a feeling. Maybe we don't need help.

Blossom: If you don't think we can handle it, then we should find help.

Mystic: Who, though?

Blossom: Ummmmmm.....

(Shimmer flies over to them.)

Shimmer: I'm back!

Stardust: Great! What did she say?

Shimmer: She said she didn't know EXACTLY where Serenity is hiding, but she told me that it was in the mountain near a big city north of here.

Kem: Mountains near a big city?

Shimmer: Yes.

Kem: Mt. Silver near Indigo City. But where in that mountain range?

Shimmer: She said there were lots of valleys with lakes and dark caverns there...

Mew Two: That sounds like the area where we fought that ameba monster from the Zelda games!

Mew: It does!

Stardust: Lets check it out!

Kem: Let me go get dressed. Then we'll need a plan. THEN we can go.

Stardust: *sigh* You're right. Plan first.

(They all go into the house.)
