(Thunder, Mew, Two, Mystic, Lightning, and Giovanni arrive at Kaiba's house. They ring the doorbell. A really cranky butler answers the door.)

Butler: What are you doing here at this hour!?

Mew: That's NOT how you are supposed to greet people. I'm telling Kaiba.

Mew Two: We also shouldn't be here at this hour, but we need to speak with Kaiba.

Butler: What makes you think I will let you talk to either of them at this late hour?

Thunder: Listen, butler guy, we need to talk to Seto right now. It's very important!

Butler: Fine. Follow me.

(He leads them to a sitting room place. You know. One of those stupid rooms people have with really nice furniture, but never use. My mom has a room like that. After a few minutes, Kaiba walks in. He looks really sleepy.)

Kaiba: (rubbing his eyes) What are you guys doing here? Do you realize what time it is?

Mew: We're really sorry to wake you up, but we have a major problem! Kuja turned Kem and her friends into stone using his freaky magic!

Kaiba: What?

Mew Two: Kuja, the guy that kidnapped you.

Kaiba: Yeah...

Mew Two: He turned Kem, her friends, and Andrea into stone using his magic.

Kaiba: Okay.

Mew Two: And we need you to help us come up with a plan to change them back and defeat Kuja again.

Kaiba: Are you kidding me!?

Thunder: No... Can you help us?

Kaiba: I don't know anything about magic. What am I supposed to do?

Mystic: You seem to know everything else.

Kaiba: I've read a lot of other books, but none about magic.

Giovanni: I knew this was a bad idea...

Kaiba: Wait. I might have a book about magic. And If I don't, I know who will. I'll be right back.

(He leaves the room.)

Mew: See? I knew he could help!

Giovanni: He hasn't helped anything yet, Mew.

Mew: He will. Don't worry!

(They continue waiting for Kaiba to come back. After a few minutes, he does. He has no books, but he has a phone book that says "Mokuba's Friends" on the front and a phone.)

Thunder: Why do you have Mokuba's address book?

Kaiba: His friend Li knows all kinds of stuff about magic. I hate to wake him but, but this IS important.

(He reads through the numbers. He finds Li's and dials it.)

Kaiba: I feel really bad about this.

Thunder: I'm sure he'll understand.

Kaiba: I hope so. (pause) Hello? Hi. I'm very sorry to wake you. This is Mokuba's older brother. I'm calling for Li. (pause) He's not there? Do you know where he is? (pause) Okay. (pause) Can I reach him there? I need to talk to him right away. (pause) Great. Thank you very much. Bye. (hanging up the phone) He's spending the night at Ken's house with Davis. I woke up his poor parents.

Mew: Oh well. That's what they get for having such a popular son.

Kaiba: Mew... (looking through the book) Any way, I think Mokuba has his number too. Yes! Here it is. (dialing) Lets hope we find him this time. (pause) Hello. This is Mokuba's older brother. I'm sorry I woke you, but I need to speak with Li. His parents told me I'd find him there. (pause) Okay. Thank you. (covering the mouth piece) Ken's mom is going to wake him up.

Lightning: Cool.

Kaiba: I hope he isn't mad. (pause) Hello? Li? (pause) Hi. This is Mokuba's brother, Seto. Mew and her friends are over here and they really need your help with something. (pause) Well, it seems that an evil sorcerer has turned some people to stone. They want to know what they should do about it. (pause) Okay. Hold on. (covering the mouth piece) He says the only ways to reverse it is to get either the reversing spell or the anti-stone potion that works best on that type of magic.

Mew: Oh no... That sounds hard! Is he sure?

Kaiba: (into the phone) Are you sure? (pause) Okay. (covering the mouth piece) He says he's very sure. And you only have until the next full moon to use the potion or the reversing spell.

Mew Two: The next full moon is the day after tomorrow!

Mystic: Tell him to stop making this harder for us!

Kaiba: (into the phone) Mystic wants you to stop making this harder. (pause) (covering the mouth piece) He says he's sorry, but that's how it is. And it gets better.

Mew: Awwwww!

Kaiba: (covering the mouth piece) Like he was starting to say, the spell or potion you use to reverse the effects of the magic Kuja used depends on the spell Kuja used to make them stone.

Mew Two: How do we know what kind of spell was used?

Kaiba: (Into the phone) How do they know what kind of spell was used? (pause) Uh-huh. (pause) Yeah. (covering the mouth piece) He knows a spell that can tell you that.

(They all fall over.)

Kaiba: *sigh* Where are the stone people?

Giovanni: Kem's house.

Kaiba: (into the phone) Li, how fast can you get to Kem's house? (pause) Okay. Listen, I'm coming for you right now. This will be much easier if you just help them. (pause) Okay. Thank you. Bye.

(Kaiba hangs up the phone.)

Kaiba: You guys go back to your house. I'm going to get Li to help you find out whatever it is you need to know.

Mew: Okay. Thank you so much!

Kaiba: Don't mention it. Just go.

(They all leave to go back to Kem's house. When they get there, they wait for Kaiba and Li to get there. After about 10 minutes, Kaiba shows up with Mokuba, Li, Davis, and Ken.)

Mew: Kaiba!

Kaiba: Hello, Mew. I brought friends.

Li: Hey guys. Where are they?

Lightning: They're out back. Come on.

(They all go out to the back yard but Mokuba. He sits down on the couch and falls asleep. Li looks at each of the statues.)

Li: Hmmmm.... Let me see.... Wow... This is powerful magic. Very powerful magic.

Mew Two: Kuja did it.

Li: No wonder. He's that guy that kidnapped us, right?

Mew: Yes. Can you tell what kind of magic it is?

Li: Sure. Ken, please give me the spell stuff we got together.

Ken: Okay. (handing Li a paper grocery bag) Here you go.

Li: Thanks. Davis, stand across from me on the other side of Andrea. We'll use her since she's about our height. It works better when the object is about your size.

Giovanni: It won't hurt her, will it?

Li: Not if I do it right.

(Giovanni's eyes open wide)

Giovanni: What if you don't?

Li: Don't worry, Giovanni. During my training, I only messed up 4 times.

Mew Two: How many times did you try it?

Li: Ummm.... 6.... But don't worry! I've had lots of training and practice since then.

Davis: Really?

Li: Sure. Not in this particular type of magic, but-

Giovanni: No! Don't even think about it!

Davis: Dude, just trust him.

Giovanni: But-

Mew: Vanni...

Giovanni: Fine.

Li: Okay. I promise I'll try really hard to not mess up. Okay, Davis. I need you to be my assistant. You'll get stuff for me and make sure nothing throws off my concentration.

Davis: Okay.

Li: Okay. Get me the spell book out of that bag and open it to the page I marked.

(Davis takes the book out of the bag and opens it. He flips pages until he gets to the page Li marked. He hands the book to Li.)

Li: Than you. Lets see.... Get me the jar that has the green liquid in it.

(Davis takes the jar out and hands it to Li.)

Mew Two: What is that?

Li: (opening the jar) This is kiwi-lime kool-aid. It was the closest thing to essence of lime and kiwi I could get at Ken's house.

Mystic: What does it do?

Li: (pouring the liquid on Andrea's feet) Well, if there is just a little of the natural acids that occur in kiwis and limes, it should act as a sponge absorbing some of the magic from Andrea so I can tell what kind it is.

Mew: How do you make it suck the magic out?

Li: I need to repeat the spell 7 times while ringing a bell. Davis, could you get me the bell in that bag?

Davis: Okay.

(He gets the bell out of the bag and hands it ot Li.)

Li: Thank you.

(Li says some chant that makes no sense to anyone else and rings the bell. After saying it 7 times, Andrea starts glowing a purple-ish color.)

Li: Awesome! It worked!

Mew Two: Okay. Can you tell what type of magic it is now?

Li: In a few minutes. We have to wait for Andrea to stop glowing purple. Purple just mans the juice is starting to absorb the magic. We'll know what kind of magic it is in a few minutes.

Mew Two: Okay.

Mew: I was thinking... Should we really leave them outside?

Thunder: The statues?

Mew: Yeah. Shouldn't we bring them in?

Giovanni: Are you crazy!?

Mew: No...

Mystic: She's right. Lets take them in.

Mew Two: I'll get them. You guys watch the magic thing.

Li: Mew Two, I'll wait out here with this. We can't move Andrea until she stops glowing entirely. If you do, there could be trouble.

Mew Two: Okay.

(Everyone but Mew Two, Li, and Davis go inside. Mew Two begins moving the statues in. They wait for Li to come in with an announcement. After 15 minutes or so, Li and Davis walk into the house.)

Lightning: What's the verdict?

Li: She appears to be blue.

Davis: Yep. She looked blue to me.

Giovanni: Is that good or bad?

Li: I'm not sure.

(They all fall over)

Thunder: (getting up) What do you mean "you're not sure"!?

Li: Two types of magic turn the victim blue. One is generally harmless and easily reversed. The other is much more dangerous and a great deal harder to undo.

Kaiba: How do we know which one we have?

Li: We need the book that cast the spell.

Mew: How do we know what book to find?

Li: The fact that it turned blue proves it's a type of dragon magic.

Giovanni: Dragon magic?

Li: Yes. Dragon magic was developed by the tribes of people that raise dragons. Dragon magic is the only type powerful enough to control dragons.

Lightning: That explains why Kuja uses it.

Li: Yeah. The thing is, there are 2 types of it. Typically, they're separated into light and dark types. Light is much weaker than dark, but light was the type most people used. People that like power would use the dark type. It's usually associated with people becoming evil and crazy.

Mystic: That's sounds like Kuja.

Giovanni: Which kind is easier to deal with?

Li: Light dragon magic spells are always weak and easy to undo. Dark dragon magic spells are very powerful and very difficult to fix.

Mew: Oh no!

Kaiba: Are you sure?

Li: Pretty sure.

Thunder: There has to be an easy way to break a dark dragon magic spell!

Ken: Lighten up, guys. We don't even know which kind Kuja uses. Just because he's evil and crazy doesn't mean he uses the dark type.

Li: You're right. We just need to get his spell book.

Lightning: How are we going to do that?

Giovanni: Someone needs to go to his palace and get it. He left you directions.

Mew: Yeah, but who can we send that he won't lock up?

(Everyone stops to think. After a second, Lightning jumps up.)

Lightning: I've got it! Davis and Ken can go!

Davis and Ken: WHAT!?

Lightning: Kuja has no problems with either of you. You'll be fine!

Davis: (tears forming in his eyes) But I don't wanna die!

Lightning: You won't die. Just listen to my grand master plan. You 3 will go to Kuja's palace pretending to sell candy bars for your school. Kuja will let you in while he goes to find money, and you'll swipe the book, take his money, give him the candy, and go.

Ken: What if he doesn't like candy?

Lightning: Are you kidding me!? Everyone likes candy!

Giovanni: I don't.

Lightning: Okay. Everyone but you. Now, lets get some stuff ready for you.

Mew: I hope this works, Lightning....

Lightning: Of course it will. Don't worry about it!
