From a sinking ship or from a plummeting aircraft the barked call of "mayday" voices the use of the ultimate distress signal employed worldwide. The operative term here is "distress" while the operative concept here embodies times of distress which will collectively hereinafter represent "maydays." From myriads of life-threatening calamities at sea or in the air, two world-renowned tragedies would have necessitated mayday distress calls. For purposes of illustration, consider the degree of distress and the need for assistance aboard the Titanic or aboard Swissair 111 which crashed near Peggy's Cove, NS, on September 2, 1998. Maydays (times and periods of distress) per se can range in size to produce potentially astronomical consequences as would occur were an asteroid to collide with earth to the less dire (but nevertheless tragic) possible loss of even one life. Years, as would have been during the great wars, or seconds, as would occur during car crashes, would have precipitated mayday calls and mayday times -- times of unimaginable distress.
Maydays, in this light then, would be no different in the spiritual realm, though they would birth destructive consequences within the physical spectrum. When Christ was plucked from the garden of Gethsemane, maydays for him commenced. His followers fell away to leave him alone in his suffering and eventual crucifixion. Though his resurrection caused considerable joy in the reunification of all of his followers except Judas, subsequent to his ascension and Pentecost, maydays unlike any before would ensue. The persecution of the Church at the hands of Saul and the slaughter of Christians thereinafter by the Roman Empire gave rise to distress and maydays without end. Who died a peaceful death of those who followed Christ? Those maydays persist even unto today, if not for us, for some 10 million Christians just since the 1950's, according to one report.
With the rise of Hitler, it seemed that a time of maydays befell God's people, the Jews, to which even a blind eye was turned by various so-called Christian groups. Therefore, it would seem that this great persecution targeted the Israel of God (the apple of His eye) as opposed to the indwelt of Christ. This massive effort of extermination was facilitated and expedited by the invention of the Hollerith punch card machine. Concentration camp inmates were eventually tattooed with their Hollerith punch card numbers, the punch card being no more than a bar code for human beings, specifically, Jews. The Third Reich and its created holocaust used punch card technology to bring us to the doorstep of end time technology. The trial run of the Enemy using Hitler to rid the world of God's chosen people, the Jews, paved the way to the latter day extermination of all those who choose God, the Christians. How? As you know, of late the chip that Revelations so speaks of can now be downloaded into the hand or forehead with the use of a needle. What was once done on punch cards as the precusor to that which is to come is now done on microchips technologically punched which can be inserted into the hand or forehead. Everything is now in place for the end-time annihilation of all who will not take the mark of the beast. Revelation 14:9 says, "If any man...receive his (the Beast's) mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same will drink the wine of the wrath of God..." All who take the mark automatically deny Christ; all who even now deny Christ are they who (unless otherwise persuaded) will take the mark of the beast.
