~ Jesus Cried For The Children ~  

Tears run down HIS face
leaving a trace
of sadness untold
for all the world to behold.

HE looks on as we sin
hearts in ruin
the gap growing
hatred showing.

Man so separated
thou finely decorated
the best money can buy
yet the children cry.

Jesus is near
see HIS tear
HE wants to come in
help block out sin.

Who has eyes to see
who has ears to hear
Jesus stands at the door
HE weeps more.

Who has time
to call HIM mine
to bow in prayer
to show they care.
