You can still get strong without having to buy the weights. You most likely will not improve your leg press and bench press by these simples exercises, but you could improve the look of your body, these exercises will firm up your muscles and make you look stronger. If you want to simply work your whole upper body at the same time, you can use push up stands. Or you could use something to elevate your arms from the ground. These increase the difficulty of the push up and they use alot more muscles then simple, plain push ups. Dont be shocked if your abs are sore the next day. Dont be shocked when your neck feels tenderness the next day. This tenderness is a good thing and does not hurt. If you have a low tree branch or a pull up bar you could use that to pull yourself up on. This will work your bicep. You can either hold onto the bar with your palms facing toward you or you can hold onto the bar with the back of your hands facing you. The opposite grip with back of hands facing you is more difficult. You can easily do crunchers. These are shortened sit ups to put less strain on the back. These of course work your abs. Remember to tuck your chin into your chest and dont trust foreward with your arms. Keep your arms still. You can workout your legs by laying on your side and lifting your leg up into the air. Lower it again. This will work the back of your legs. And a workout for your calves: stand up on your tip toes and then lower your body so your feet are flat on the ground. Repeat the process many, many times. You can also just stand still and tighten your whole leg. Hold your leg stiff for however long you want. This will do good for your legs and butt and you will be suprized the next day how sore they are just for stiffening them up and holding it that way. So if your are pressed for cash you can still get fit by using your own body weight as resistence. You may be shocked by the results. Go back to my homepage |
