Photon Cannon is the ultimate building for defense in Starcraft. It
can shoot both air and ground units, and it is also a detector. It
deals 20 hit points of damage to both air and ground units. The
biggest disadvantage of this building is that it's very weak and
it's easy to destroy it.

Shield Battery is unique to the Protoss species. It has an energy
field, which automatically recharges over time. This energy can be
used to recharge a Protoss unit energy shield. The unit uses as much
of the energy to recharge its own shield as it needs. Each energy
point restores two of the shield points.
