Will it ever really be a United Nations
or just an Un-United Male Nations or
Worse Still, a United Dominations?
Will it do everyone Good or will it be powerless to do good and even do harm?

The UN cannot do good as a institution if it is not gender balanced. The nations and their ambassadors deserve world respect and recognition only in so far as they really represent the people of these nations - and that means women as much as men. Too many nations are still nondemocratic monogender male or mostly male officialdoms appointing ambassadors that do not and cannot represent females well enough. Women and men do the world good when they decide togther. Otherwise the decisions are too unrepresentative and flawed becasue they are cast in a male-only more compartmentalized intelligence, a sometimes over competitive and testosteronized mode that does not reflect the female's generally high-developed talents of conflict resolution, and estrogenized intelligence of wholistic empathy and understanding. Now that France is joining the Nordic nations and many other nations in moving to gender balance at a level of 36%, 40% and 50% minimums for BOTH genders - it is time for the men and women who work at the UN to respect each other enough to bring gender balance to that institution and all its member states. Good gender balance activists can best email from many nations, both individually and also linking emails with each other across national boundaries as much as possible, to all the below missions and delegations at the UN, and let them know that the days of a monogender UN are over, and the days of a balanced gender UN must begin, in order to do a World of Good.
