The ruling house of Kensak was established by Edward Robert Kensak, or Kensak I.  They have ruled the nation of Greyfeather since then with the exception of when Bife was in power.

In accordance with a promise made to him by his god, Odin, Kensak I swore that every male heir in the Kensak line would bear his name so as to ensure Odin's protection, thus beginning the tradition of naming all of the Kensak sons Edward Robert Kensak.
