Sonu Nigam performs many Live Shows, too, everywhere in India and abroad except in Bombay. Earlier he used to struggle a lot to build his career, but now by God's grace he has reached a position where he has so much - which he really deserves. We have seen his career growing in front of us - from a person whom nobody knew - with long hair, wheatish complexion, sobber, middle class boy to - now a talented, smart, heart throb of everyone who is not only a singer, but an anchor, a pop star and now an actor too. He has not left any stone unturned as far as his talent goes.

Sonu Nigam has Dubai audience spellbound in Dubai -
people were pushing, jostling, screaming for Sonu Nigam, the latest singing sensation in India at the India Fair, Global Village.
Charm Dressed in black trousers and jacket and a huge smile, Sonu took to the stage right on time. And then he went on to charm. He sang foot-tapping, palm-clapping numbers from "Kismat", his debut solo album just released by Magnasound. The music is by Biddu, the pioneer of electronic pop in India.
Back-up track Sonu sang the songs to a back-up track minus the main voice and sang them well. There was the quick, pulsating "Tu", the lilting "O Sudha", the jazzy "ABC" and the funky "Bus Stop". And, of course, the title song "Kismat", all about a man who lives on cloud nine because his horoscope predicts he will meet a beautiful woman that day. Sonu used the empty stage well, filling it with enthusiastic children from the audience who danced all the way. He also kept up an easy patter with the crowd, exchanging pleasantries, peppering witticisms and even flinging across some T-shirts (with his face printed) for the lucky ones to grab. The audience loved him, both those who had a chance to sit and those who stood outside the enclosure. And they wouldn't let him go without a few lines from his earlier chartbusters. So Sonu obligingly sang "Yeh dil deewana" from Pardes, with just the children singing along with him. And proved that he could really sing, not just chant, using great music as a prop.

His performances are so lively with foot tapping songs. He even performed on 14 February 2000 - Valentine's Day and that too in Delhi at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium - where he made his entry with his hit song - "Pehli pehli baar baliye" from the film 'Sangharsh'. Then one after the other many hit songs like - "Ek din kahin hum tum mile, Tera milna pal do pal ka, Deewana tera tujhe hi bulaye, Banke tera jogi", and many more. He also sung some old melodies. He even gave a dance number - "Tu" where he danced the way as he had done in the video. The show ended with a mix variety of punjabi songs like "Gur naal ishq mittha, saade naal ravoge te aish karoge, tutak tutak tutiyan" and many more. It was a wonderful performance, beyond compare.

Recetly, again he performed in Delhi on 22 April 2000 oowing out the delhites. He is a very buzy person and hardly attends any parties. Many a times he is out of town. But, he believes it is better to achieve as much as one can now to live a peaceful and better life ahead.
