On Thursday, April 19th, 2007, we were fortunate in having another author visit our library. Shenaaz Nanji was born and raised in Mombasa in Kenya. She currently lives in Calgary and has several books published. Her multicultural stories are a reflection of her own personal concerns. Some of her books are used in the Social Studies in schools. Ms. Nanji kept the children enraptured with her storytelling and tales of life as a child in Kenya. |
