The Worsley & District Library offers many handy things to the public. In an ever expanding hypermedia world, naturally, the library would offer computers, but they are not the only technologies offered for public use. Some of these other technologies include;
- Four Public Computers With Internet Access - Library Supplied 3 1/2 Inch Floppy Disks (That Stay In The Library) - Print Offs By Request |
|
Use of all computers is restricted to those who have signed an "Internet Use Policy." Please note that some of the computer equipment in the "Gates Corner" was provided by a generous donation reveived from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. We would also like to thank Industry Canada, and the government of Alberta for their generous donations. |
| Please note that the Worsley & District Library is now using the PAC (Patron Access Catalouge) program. What this program does, is allows readers the chance to simply type in the name or author of a book. The program then searches not only the Worsley & District Library database, but ALL libraries in the Pease Library System for that book. You can then order/put a hold on that book. Come in today, and check out the PAC program, on the Worsley & District Library computers!!! |
