Appearence:
Backstory: Chris was once a normal, extremely overpowered AC. However, in the last IF he appeared in, The War versus Satoshi, he was abandoned by his author. By a twist of fate, he avoided Satoshi's reset, and lived a happy life with his female counterpart AC, Lynda. However, when the duo attempted to warp to a reality where they could fight Satoshi, Chris died in transit. His spirit wound up back in the mind of his creator, Wote, and was subsequently transferred with the Author to the EarthBound universe.
Personality: Chris is a rather odd creature. On the one hand, his "death" caused him to almost reboot back to his default age of 13, despite the fact that he died at around 18. The result is that, on the one hand, he can fall victim to the impetuousness and recklessness of the early teen years, but also has the wisdom that comes from full maturity. He is fiercely loyal to his friends, and is willing to risk his life, if necessary, to save them. However, he is forever haunted by his search for his beloved Lynda, and will forget everything else if offered either information on her whereabouts, or just news of her.
Skills
Psionics: Like many AC's from his time, Chris possesses several PSI Skills, as described below.
PSI Blast: What it sounds like, just a shockwave of Psionic energy. Named by Chris in his younger days. Knows at Alpha (10 PP), Beta (25 PP), Gamma (48 PP), and Omega (84 PP) levels.
PSI Float: A levitation skill, allowing Chris and others limited flight. Knows only Alpha (20 PP), which targets one person.
PSI Shield: Ness's psychic shield. Standard costs apply. Knows Beta and Omega.
PSI Teleport: Knows Alpha and Beta, but also can use Sigma (50 PP) which allows instant transport anywhere on the globe without any motion, and Omega, which has no cost, but takes a month to charge between uses and allows Chris to jump between universes (note: cannot be used for time travel).
Magic: In his earlier days, Chris used Teleport Omega to journey to the universe of Final Fantasy 4, where he studied magical and crystal lore. As a result, Chris gained the ability to use Ice 1, 2, and 3 (Blizzard, Blizzara, and Blizzaga); Fire 1, 2, and 3 (Fire, Fira, and Firaga); Bolt 1, 2, and 3 (Thunder, Thundara, and Thundaga); as well as Cure 1 and 2 (Cure and Cura), Esuna, and Wall. All spells cost their normal amounts.
Shadow Knight: The embodiment of Chris's angst and rage, the Shadow Knight is, in a sense, Chris's dark side. Due to the extreme anger needed to bring on the transformation, Shadow Knight can only manifest when someone close to Chris has been either terribly injured, or killed. If it is not a mortal injury, Chris can usually maintain control. However, if the person will, or does, die from the attack, the Shadow Knight is usually uncontrollable.
Note: The transformation usually causes a general darkening in the air around Chris, and in extreme situations can result in storms. In the event of a death, the transformation also tends to involve a column of dark energy forming around Chris and engulfing him, similar to a gusher, really.
Appearence:
While in this form, Chris gains several new skills, which are listed below.
PSI Shadowburst: Like PSI Blast, only Dark Elemental. Does 2x damage, but costs 1.5 times more at each level.
PSI Shadowcloak: An area spell that renders all targets invisible for about 10 minutes.
PSI Shadow: Allows Shadow Knight to generate multible copies of himself. These copies are fully capable of combat, and the number created increase as the level goes up. This progression is Alpha: 1 (20 PP); Beta: 2 (50 PP); Sigma: 4 (130 PP); and Omega: 20 (300 PP).
Freeze Frame: Special move where Shadow Knight summons all copies back into himself, then strikes his target with the total potential energy of all copies, plus himself.
PSI Shadequake: An attack wherein Shadow Knight strikes the ground, splitting the earth before him. Hybrid earth/dark elemental. Levels are Alpha (30 PP); Beta (65 PP); Gamma (88 PP); and Omega (125 PP).
Shadow Blade: Technique wherein Shadow Knight manifests a massive sword from the rage and dark energy surrounding him. No cost.
Shadow Knight can use all of Chris's Black Magic spells. None of his White Magic, however.
