recognized by both their black-tasseled spears and black shields. These fearsome warriors are known The most elite members of the Deathwatch Guards are never loaned, however, and are responsible for the life of the Empress herself and her immediate family. Not all members of the Guard are even human. Some are Ogier . These Ogier are more somber than their relatives across the ocean. The soldiers of the Deathwatch are among the most fearsome fighters in the world, and inspire fear in any who would even consider an attack on the Empress. |
