The Seekers for Truth The Seanchan Seekers for Truth are an important part of Imperial security, serving as a secret police and spy organization. Seekers have nearly unlimited powers, and are chosen from all segments of society. They are seldom of the Blood, though, and becoming a Seeker is a sure path to success and status. The Seekers are respected for the powers they are granted. The Seekers for Truth are loyal Even the Blood are not exempt to the powers of the Seekers. But when the Seekers torture a member of the Blood, they are prohibited from shedding a drop of that noble’s blood. They have been forced to create extremely innovative methods of torture, methods which do not involve the shedding of the subject’s blood. The Seekers for Truth hold as their center of power the Tower of Ravens, the central imperial prison. Most prisoners who discover they are bound for the Tower of Ravens attempt suicide. |
