This is angry, pist-off riot girl stuff featuring the guitar work of ex-Runaways member Sondra Menthers. Out 4 Blood starts off on a vengeance with Brainstem Only, filled with lots of attitude delivered in rather colorful language. One highlight on the CD is Goodbye, a passion filled song featuring an effective vocal performance. The band even exhibits a sense of humor with the biting Looks like the Wedding's Off. Naked Greek Men is a angry punk anthem, with the chorus screaming the words, "Cover them with mace!" A lot of the tracks exude a raw sense of anger and hurt that may be unsettling to some while cathartic to others. The band assures the world that they don't hate men - if you're "a rapist or a stalker," than you have the full wrath and fury of what Wound has to offer. The other members of Wound are Drama Arthur and Linda Werbelow on vocals, Jaye Barnes on bass and saxophone and Ryan Hulbert on drums. Info (323) 938-7954.
