Here is some Information on Lieutenant Commander Tuvok:

He is the chief of security on voyager. Tuvok infiltrated Chakotay's Maquis ship during their trip to the Badlands to gain valuable information about maquis operations. When the caretaker pulled the maquis ship to the Delta quadrant, he disappeared with the others onboard. Tuvok is Vulcan, which means that he experiences no emotions, and lets his logic run his life. He is one of Janeway’s most treasured friends as well as one of her most reliable crewmembers as she often depends on his logic. He is good friends with Seven which can be seen in i.e. episode Year of Hell and Tsunkatse.
