The unwritten rules (now written *lol*) of WoW

The following rules are known to almost all high lvl players, but new players doesn't really seem to either know, or understand them. I will now write down the unwritten rules of WoW. You should especially pay atention to them when in a group with strangers, as they can spare you some trouble. Breaking those rules can lead to a group kick, and if you are in an instance, you'll get thrown out of the instance too. That's not so good, is it? Nope, so please read and accept the following rules, it's for your own sake.

» Rolling (Need or Greed): New players tend to puch Need all the time, but after a while, they learn from other players that this is not ok. If you haven't learned this yet, then you can read the basics here.
Need is when you need something, e.g. some new armor that's better than your's. If it is better than what you have on, then you push the dices.
Greed is when you do not need the item rolled for in a group. If your armor is better than the one shown in the roll-window, then push greed.
Pass is when you don't want to roll at all. This is mostly used when higher lvl players are helping out lower ones. The don't need the items rolled for, and then pass on them. When you pass on an item, you can never do anything wrong.
Pleaso note that some groups want's you to ask before you need. so if the group leader tells you to do so, then do it, or else it's out. Also, if a group member has died during your fight with a monster that gives an item you need to roll for, then wait for the person to come back, he/she cannot roll while dead. And one other thing too... If you are a warrior then you only wear mail and plate, so if a cloth or leather item shows up, then push greed or pass, NEVER need. If you press need while REALLY not needed, you are busted right away. This goes for all classes.

» Group Loot: If you wish to change the roll option, then you need to change the looting options for the group first. Onlt the group leader can do so, but please keep in mind, that changing the options without asking the group members, may cause some serious trouble. If you are the group leader and sets the loot option on free-for-all (loot what you can get your fingers on without rolling), and your group members doesn't want this, they may all leave your group. And what is a group leader without a group? Nothing, that's right. If you keep the default settings for group loot, you can never do anything wrong, at least not if you follow the roll rules above *s*

» Ninja!!! if someone is screaming this in your face, then you have done something wrong. Ask the person about his/her problem, and try to solve your problem without splitting up or putting eachother on ignore. Sometimes people will accuse you for something you have not done, but sometimes they may be right about what they say...
