1.  Record some lessons about your Faith Journey that you realized from last week’s lecture on

    Faith – some area where God is stretching you and you can TRUST HIM.  Record one

    observation about Abraham’s faith that blessed you.

 

Faith Sees Beyond What the Physical Eye Can See – Hebrews 11:23-26

2. a. Read Exodus 2:1-10 and Acts 7:17-22.  What was faith required to stand against?

    b. What encouragement for parents with faith can be drawn from Exodus 2:11 and Acts 7:23?

 

3. Why do you think our author could write Hebrews 11:26 of Moses who lived centuries before

    the actual coming of Christ?

 

 

Faith Sees the Unseen – Hebrews 11:27-29

4.  According to Exodus 3:1-10, what experience made Moses a different man for his second

     stay in Egypt?   How does Exodus 3:11-12 encourage faith to trust the unseen?

 

 

5. a. According to Exodus 13:21-22, what visible symbol of the invisible God led the exodus

    from Egypt?

    b. How can we of faith today “see” the reality of God in the midst of our needs?

    c .Do you think God still leads?  Explain your convictions based on Scripture and experience.

 

 

6. a. Read Exodus 14:9-14.  According to these verses, what did the Israelites have to do in

       order to be rescued?  (v.29)   What lessons from this event are still to be learned today?

 

 

 

7. a.  Read Joshua 2 which tells of the faith of Rahab.  Record information that helps you decide

         the following:

(1)    How much did she have to know about God to begin the exercise of faith?

(2)   How was her faith demonstrated?

    b. According to Joshua 6:22-23, how was her faith rewarded?

 

 

Faith Can Conquer – Hebrews 11:32-35
