Mission Statement

"Women of the Word is an interdenominational ministry for women, dedicated to

the building of the Body of Christ in the greater Hartford area by encouraging a

deep longing after God and a deep hunger and thirst for His WORD. The goal of

the ministry is to present every woman 'mature in Christ,' and equip them for greater

and more effective service in their local churches. Maturity comes through: hearing

the WORD in lecture, studying the WORD at home, and applying the Word both

personally (daily) and in small group settings, where accountability and commitment

is demonstrated by how we interact with and serve one another."
