Mission
Statement
TPN has a mission to protect the interests of the
Papuans, to prevent further violations of human rights and land rights, to
prevent further exploitation of our natural environment and to stop
further destruction of our ecology and ecosystem, because we are the
native inhabitants of the land and we have a duty to do so at any cost.
Our Goal
The only Goal of TPN is to free West Papua from
Indonesia's colonial power and to establish an independent West Papua as a
people and as a country.
For TPN, the term independent can mean
anything that does not dependent on foreign interference such as:
- First of all and primarily, economically
not dependent on foreign institutions and powers. Therefore,
the offer of autonomy by Indonesia is not the solution to our
aspiration.
- Second thing to notice is that West Papua is politically
not dependent on foreign influence and intervention, which means
involvement in the political activities in the world should be
carefully and comprehensively considered to agree with the interests
of the Papuans, not foreigners. This includes legal, human rights and
democracy issues;
- The third goal we want to reach is so that West Papua
as a people and as a country socio-culturally not
influenced by alien practices and beliefs.
Target: Year 2005 = West Papua is
Politically Independent
TPN has targets, but all targets are cross-checked with
all politicians, political organisations and the OPM. (We
are sorry that we cannot give you our long term plans and plans of actions
in details here.)
- Year 2001:
Internationalise the Issue of West Papua independence movement
- Year 2002: Force the
Foreign Powers who live in West Papua to support, if not they will
face TPN's retaliation. If possible, all foreign companies operating
in West Papua will be negotiated for possible cooperation, and if not
there will be actions taken not only by TPN but all Papuans. We expect
that National Dialogue Starts in this year. Then if possible the
International Dialogue as well.
- Year 2003: If
there is no way out at all, this year is the year of warship all over
West Papua. We will target foreign investments and foreigners who we
believe members of foreign intelligence and foreign missionaries who
mostly pretend to be do-gooders but in fact they are murderers of out
culture, our identity as Papuans and our beliefs as a people, which
automatically allow foreign powers to easily take our resources out
and kill us if they want.
- Year 2004: Force
Indonesia and the international community to sit on a Dialogue Table,
first between Papuans and Indonesians, then between Papuans and
Americans, Dutch and Indonesians.
- Year 2005:
Re-Declare the Independence of West Papua and Re-Claim the Land of
West Papua.
FINAL WORDS:
-
WE HAVE PUT OUR LIVES,
OUR INTEGRITY, OUR FUTURE AND EVERYTHING WE HAVE; FORGETTING LIFE IN
PEACE AND SECURITY AND PROTECTION? UNDER INDONESIA COLONY FOR ALMOST
40 YEARS NOW.
-
WE HAVE STARTED A GOOD
WORK, AND WE KNOW WE ARE GOING TOWARDS A CLEAR GOAL: AN INDEPENDENT
COUNTRY OF WEST PAPUA.
-
THERE IS NO WORD AND
WAY OF TURNING BACK, UNFORTUNATELY, AT WHATEVER COST, BUT WE ARE READY
TO GO FOR IT.
-
AND NOT ONLY US (TPN)
or ME PERSONALLY AS MATHIAS WENDA, BUT UNTIL A SINGLE PAPUAN STILL
ALIVE ON THIS PLANET or ANY PLANET THAT YOU KNOW OF, THE WISH AND
STRUGGLE FOR THE INDEPENDENCE OF WEST PAPUA WILL BE THERE, ALIVE,
STRONG, AND WITH TOTAL DETERMINATION.
