Spruce Hill Full squad played Play-offs 2. Play-offs won 11-7. Rob scored what appears to be a T-L. I don't know what that is but that's what it says. For Spruce, Linda did her usual, 2-3 games and a pair of Tons. The other Play-offs, the Players, played the other Spruce, the Anybodys, the Players lost 11-7 to Spruce. Ray Perez hit a C-6 and B-3. So basically, Play-offs and Spruce all hooked up and the score was 18-18. They should do a 12 on 12, 2001 game for bragging rights. But I digress. Well 'X' marks the spot again, why you say? Well the Sand Bar fish food team played the first place team, the End Zone Sixers (who are running away with it) and lost 17-1. That's right, Mike “X” got the only win. This match could have used some Chaos.
Fall sign ups: August 13th, 12-3pm Red Mills Pub in Mahopac.

Fiddler's Gr$$n formally Smalley's Hammerheads, played the Charles Inn Combo Kings-Combo Kings because it's a combination of the “B” and “C” champions of the previous season, so watch out. Anyway the Kings won 12-6 but no all stars were thrown or logged, for Fids, the Kings had tons from Jason and Vinny. Watch out Tony, I'm coming back for ya soon. Southside Rox beat up on a 4-person team called Tina's snot rockers. Only Janet scored a T20 and her team won 11-7. If Tina's doesn't get a full team this week, I'll have to help out. JKJr hit a T25. The other Tina's team, played Southside's Slush Fund and downed them 11-7, then they all got drunk. Or did they get drunk first? Hmmm. Chuck, Sean and Fred all hit “marks”. Steve, Dave, James and Rockstar all scored as well for Tina's Mixed Flights. Secor 8 balls refers to the billiards ability of its captain, not any deformity in his shorts. However they did get the short end of the stick while playing Play-offs. Secor lost 12-6.

Spruce Hill Full Squad is in direct reference to poor Sue playing short-handed nearly all of last season. What's up Sue? Anyway the full squad didn't help as the End Zone Sixers team won 14-4. Chris had a great night for Spruce hitting 3 tons and winning 3 of the 4 points earned. Only Danny scored a T20 for the Sixers in the whupping. The Mixed Nuts from End Zone could not have been named any better considering the roster I'm looking at right now, they did beat Spruce Hill Anybody's 11-7. Maybe Spruce needs “Somebody” else to throw.
The other Play-offs team beat the Sand Bar fish food team 13-5 with the highlight being Pete Dooney hitting a T80, but alas lost the doubles game he threw it in. Play-offs did not mail the sheet in, one-week grace period then points come off. See ya next week.
Gin Division:
Only a few sheets are in this week since I could not get mail on Saturday or Monday, so the write up is abbreviated. Anyway the Combo Kings couldn't find a way to beat a shorthanded Tina's crew falling 10-8. And listen Lou, another T-80? Nobody likes a show off ya know, that's three in the last 2 months or so. However you threw 300 points in 6 darts and lost? C'mon now, you knew I couldn't let that slide by. Bob M has the high in for the summer with a T-32. Secor 8 balls played the Southside Slush fund and won 12-6. AlZoo led the SS charge with a T25. It's important to note that the Dutchess won more games than the Dutch. The Snot Rockers from Tina's beat up on Fiddler's Gr$$n 13-5. JK Jr. had a good night getting two wins and three Tons. Fiddlers probably couldn't see with the Light shining in their faces. Cue ball showed up for Fid's though.

Sand Bar Fish Food played Spruce Hill Full Squad and won 11-7. Sand Bar was led by Chaos and Ken. Sue's crew put up a fight but ultimately was happy just to have a full squad. Now this brings me to the cross-over match of the week. Southside Rox played at the End Zone 6 team. Southside was short having only 4 players show up, so my friend Janet asked the OWNER of End Zone (another good friend Mike) to play for SOUTHSIDE. So being a sport he did, and WON THE ONLY POINT IN A 17-1 BEATING. Mike, you were supposed to miss that double 2. Geez, now you gotta play for Southside the rest of the season. C'mon Janet, get some players to show up! The other Spruce played Play-offs and lost 13-5. Too many “A” players used so standings are adjusted. The other Play-offs team shot against the End Zone Mixed Nuts team and lost 11-7. This Motley Crew put together a good night winning 2 out of three each round. See ya next week.
Gin Division:
Secor 8-balls moved into first place while damaging the hopes of Charles Inn Combo Kings of a third title. Secor won 14-4 on the strength of Dutch's C-6 and B3. Probably because Lou wasn't there to throw another T80. Southside Rox scored 500% more this week than last week but still lost 13-5 to SS Slush Fund. Janet, you gotta buy shots for the Slush Fund BEFORE you play, not after. “X” marks the spot for Sand Bar Fish Food as they doubled up Fiddler's Gr$$n 12-6. Rob had a T08 In for Fid's and John M scored a C6 and T25. Tina's Snot rockers played Tina's Mixed, one of the Tina's teams won 10-8, the other didn't. I see a lot of new names this summer, where are all you people during the fall and spring??

Secor 8-balls retained first place by spanking the Snot Rockers 13-5. This is what I get, I finally come out of the “dart cave” and get my ass whupped by Dutch. Well thanks for the beer anyway. Bill Van tassel (former WPDL SEC) had a good night…hey Bill…want a job? Well Lou made it out again for the Charles Inn Combo Kings and took it easy on everybody (no T80s this week) and the Kings beat my friend Janet from Southside 14-4. John Politi made it out as well, but got beat two outta three. The other Southside team, the Slush Fund, beat up on Fiddler's Gr$$n 13-5. Hey Maglio, you can't avoid “A” league by dumping in the summer! The good Tina's team crossed over to the Spruce Hill Anybodys and won 13-5. What Spruce hill needs is a Robocop to join the team and ditch that other league.
