Pictures of Bev and Amber

Ok.  You will see photos of all four of us (Bev and I as well as our hosts: David and Amber) but the majority of these photos are of Bev and Amber.  Please enjoy these photos - I took most of them and that pretty much guarantees top quality!

This is a photo of Bev and Amber at a cafe on the beach.  We walked along this beach on the shore of the North Sea.  While we were walking we were surprised to see a man in the water.  It was rather chilly and so we couldn't believe that anywone was in the water.  Then the man decided to leave the water.  He was stark naked!  Dutch people apparently don't like clothes.  We were much more shocked when he got our of the water.

This is a photo of Bev and Amber on a tiny little bridge.  This path led to a castle that was in ruins.  We do have photos of the castle, just see the "other Holland Pictures page."

Bev and Amber are standing in front of one of the many canals that run through the city of Amsterdam.  Apparently the name, Amsterdam, comes from the fact that they put a dam in the Amstel river.  Amstel + Dam = Amsterdam!

This is a photo of the two girls in a tunnel.  The tunnel lead us to a pub where we had drinks and chips.  It was a lot of fun and a beautiful day.

This is a photo of the Bouws and the Girouxes.  Bev and I are the Girouxes and David and Amber are the Bouws (just in case you forgot)  Notice the height difference between Bev and David. . . hmm interesting.

This is a photo of Amber and her husband David (pronounced D-ah-veed) in front of their house.  It was a really nice house and they were really fun tour guides.

This is a photo of Bev, Amber and David in front of the Vincent Van Gogh Museum.  I absolutely LOVED the Museum and Van Gogh's work.  Some day I will own a real Van Gogh.  Ok, not really but a canvas duplicate is possible.
