Other Holland Pictures

OK, so this is the page that includes some of the other Holland pictures.  On this page you will see photos of Bev and I as well as photos of other sites we saw on our trip.

This is a photo of Bev.  I always knew she was short, but this is one of David's shoes!!!

Pop Quiz:  Do you know who Anne Frank was?  I didn't.  Read this: Anne Frank was a young girl whose life comes alive when reading her story, The Dairy of Anne Frank.  People all over the world are able to see what life as a persecuted Jew was like during World War II; thus gaining an appreciation for the sacrifices people made in the struggle to stay alive.  Anne Frank did not become famous until after her death in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp and after the liberation of all concentration camps.  Otto Frank, the only surviving member of the people hiding in the Secret Annex, later had Anne's dairy published.

This is a great photo of Bev on the Beach.  If you head directly out to see, you will eventually hit England!

This is a photo of Bev and I pretending to be a Windmill.  I think we are quite convincing.

This is a photo of Bev in Clogs.  The interesting thing about this is that about 3 minutes after this picture was taken, she stepped on my toe with the clogs on.  It hurt.
