IN MEMORY Urben Berry - October 7, 2003 |
 CPRA-WHR Champion Urben Berry passed away tragically on October 7, 2003 at the age of 50 years old. In 2002 Urben and his sons (Jim and Justin Berry) won the prestigious Calgary Stampede, as well as the CPRA Alberta Championship, and the CPRA Season Leader Championship. They had a great year and topped it off by going into the World Finals as the number one Canadian team, leading the World Finals for most of the week and eventually finishing 2nd overall last year behind Wade Agin's team. They had another great run this year as they finished 2nd in the CPRA Season Leader championship, and although Urben will not be in Rapid City, his boys Justen and Jim will carry on the legacy at the World Finals. Urben will be sadly missed by all of those that knew him.Our prayers are with Terri, Jim, Justin, Shantelle and the rest of Urben's family.
