The eldest daughter (17 at the time) and I would often go out on the hunt for old relics There were ruins and old town sites. At Judah there was an old Chinese market garden site, so one day looking around this place, turning over every thing in sight and under under every thing, we came across a mound that looked like an old rubbish dump To one side there was a sheet of old corrugated iron. Rosalie turning the iron over and jumped 5 feet in the air and ranning at 100 mph and of course, screaming her head off. Yes, a rather startled King Brown (very deadly snake)who had as much of a fright as she did. The snake went into the closest gap in the dump and Rosalie was halfway back to town.
