Tires
Tire selection depends alot on the conditions on which you ride and the aggressiveness of the rider.
I will be riding trails and not pushing any envelopes but for me, the number one criterion would be flat resistance. I positively hate fixing flats on the trails because of those pesky mosquitoes.
Reviews suggest that the massively chunky WTB tyrannoraptor is a good choice and it happens to be on sale.
Align the tire label to the valve stem, it looks neater.
Tip: Write the date of installation inside the tire. When it comes time for replacement, you will know how durable the tire was.
Tip: Reverse the rotation of the rear WTB tyrannoraptor, its more grippy.
