| Jack turns Five September 24, 2001 Ahoy Maties! This year Jack decided on a Pirates Theme for his birthday. Mom made a Treasure Chest cake for his family birthday party. On Saturday, 8 of Jack's closest friends came over for the Pirate's Bash. Mom made a Pirate's Ship cake, they had a Parrot Pinata and played a treasure hunt game. All had a good time. |

| On October 19th the family got its first portrait done with Annie in it. Our church is putting together a directory and offered portraits to be taken to be placed in it. Our problem was getting a pose with all 5 looking and smiling! |

| Apple Picking Time |
| The whole family went up to Berlin Orchards on a brisk fall day. The boys had a blast, especially on the hayride. Annie just enjoyed being walked around the orchard. |
