Gattaca

This film has the same composer for its music as The Piano and concerns a future where genetic testing is commonplace for virtually everything, yet genetic engineering to improve an existing person was never developed. The protagonist wants to join the space program to visit Titan, yet all society will let him do is to clean lavatories because his genes do not come up to spec.

If you are looking for an all action successor to Star wars, then this is not it. However it is a moving and gentle film of near-future sci-fi with an excellent sound track, and I expect that those who buy it will want to watch is several times and show their friends.
