In actual fact, Dementia's show gave the largest display of
different wrestling holds, but unfortunately both wrestlers were
dressed in flowing clothes rather than two piece swimsuits.This is the third of a remastered issue of the famous GLOW tapes, in full colour and with hi-fi stereo sound. These size limited gifs do no justice to the high quality of the pictures in this video.
GLOW stands for gorgeous ladies of wrestling, and these ladies sure are gorgeous. Most ASFW fans would love to be wrestled by even the "Bad Girls", let alone the crowd favourites. However the tape is not about sporting excellence. The show is overtly sexy, with songs and comedy sketches thrown in. The wrestling is American style, rather obviously done to a set theme, with characters such as "Dementia" brought in by actors dressed as lunatic asylum attendants, or "Ninotchka the Russian Colonel".

Here we see Dementia strangling her pretty opponent "Little Egypt The Desert Flower" who is putting on a show of hating the experience and fearing for her very life. You can imagine how Dementia' smooth strong hand feels as it squeezes the vulnerable parts of the victim's throat.
No doubt ASFW fans in such a position would just be enjoying the experience knowing full well that the whole thing is just an act. But if you suspend belief, it looks real enough.
Dementia gets some of her own medicine as her opponent
works on her neck with her legs. Again, something that ASFW
fans fantasise about. Think of what it would feel like with those
female legs in the flimsy see through red leggings around your
neck. Dementia, on the other hand doesn't just enjoy it - she
ends up biting Desert Flower's leg, and after the referee breaks
the "hold" there is masses of tomato ketchup (sorry blood) all
over Dementia's face and DF's leg.
What a way to show gratitude for so much fun :-)
Dementia's match had the most wrestling holds of the cassette, but the other matches had more visible leg. Some might say that the costumes these two wore, giving occasional glimpses of the athletic limbs beneath, were more fun than the obvious beauty of the others more exposed bodies.
"Dallas, the Texan Cowgirl" had a lot of leg, for example, but there
were few clinches with "Colonel Ninotchka" supposedly someone from
the USSR (these tapes were originated some years ago.) The
commentator said that Ninotchka was a professional wrestler and just
wanted to wrestle, but we actually saw few real holds in this bout.
However both girls were great to look at and their costumes made full
use of their figures. Here we see Ninotchka giving Dallas a sleeper
hold. You can imagine the
situation - she could still breathe as her windpipe is in the
crook of Ninotchka's elbow, but Ninotchka's strong arms are
pressing into Dallas's arteries on either side of her neck
restricting the blood flow to her brain. You will have to watch
the video to see if Dallas passes out or breaks out of the hold.
The Street Fight is an "anything goes" battle inside and
outside the ring between two teams of sexy leggy girls trying
to tear each other's clothes off. At one point some of the
lights are dimmed by the management because, said the commentator, they did not want the crowd to see
the "terrible" things that were happening, one of which is shown on the left. This appears through the
gloom to be a leg stretch hold - something the crowd usually likes to see particularly when the legs are so
good to look at. Imagine the sensation of your leg being stretched harder and harder by one of these girls.
Could you escape?
Spanish Red vs the Cheerleaders was actually the first bout on the tape, and
contained a lot of quick action such as the hold shown. In this animation from
the bout you can really imagine how the muscles in the victim's leg stretch and
twist as the opposing wrestler wrenches it with her full weight as she crashes
down onto the canvas. If you are type that wants to linger on holds, they are
there, but they are over quite fast - you need to make the bout into an avi file
and work through it with your computer to really see how well these girls move.
