Hogan to WWF, WCW top Candidates, ECW Wrestlers! Vince McMahon recently stated that there have been absolutely no talks with Hulk Hogan about returning to the World Wrestling Federation. However, McMahon hasn't ruled out his return, but he said that it was doubtful that they would be able to come to terms on a mutually beneficial situation. There isn't anything new concerning the purchase of World Championship Wrestling. Eric Bischoff is currently the top candidate while George Steinbrenner is a rumored candidate as well. Paul Heyman has been giving permission to certain wrestlers within Extreme Championship Wrestling to explore options in the WWF or WCW, and if they end up finding work he would be willing to discuss releasing them from the contracts they have with the company. The plan is to cut back on expenses in turn letting him be able to accept a less lucrative offering from a television network. The way he thinks it would work is if he would release the eager wrestlers who think they might be able to work else where, then them not be able to find work he will then re-sign them back to a lower paying contract. The World Wrestling Federation has stated that they would be interested in Jerry Lynn if he becomes legally available. |
