Outlook - Claudio Castignoli started like so many pro-wrestlers, he grew up as a fan. In his native Switzerland - like many European countries, pro-wrestling had a long tradition. Castignoli hooked up with some people, got into the local scene and expanded onward and upward. After a couple years in, Claudio got a break on the American scene and became an impressive prospect. His financial successes back home and multi-lingual abilities catipulated him into a favorable position. He eventually moved to America and has really become a hit on the indies as a Eurotrash heel. Castignoli has the look, the charisma, the ability and the potential to become one of the top talents in the States and in Europe, where he still competes. Still hungry to learn and develop, "Double C" is probably going to be a star to watch in the next few years. He has experience in lucha libre and has gone down to Mexico. In Ring of Honor, he got over with his "hey" catchphrase and has been able to get over as a face and heel. Castignoli is becoming a top tier indy talent and will certainly gain the attention of bigger companies. Claudio Castignoli could be one to bet on the next ten years.
