Outlook - When he was in XPW, the former Altar Boy Luke was one of those backyarder-turned-pro types who were, according to many, a disease of American indy scene. He was a good highspot artist who was willing to take great abuse and slowly turned into a passable wrestler. His friend and trainer Vic Grimes helped him catch a break in the company and his controversial Altar Boy Luke was soon created. Luke received a strong push doing death matches and it made him a notable indy wrestler when XPW folded. He recreated himself again as the "Southern Stomper" Luke Hawx, a loud-mouthed roughneck. Although he was not a top indy wrestler in terms of in-ring ability or personality, Hawx was a solid hand for any group who might bring him in. He has done some dark matches for the WWE and had a good showing in WSX, but might be too small and too edgy for any place other than independents.
