Outlook - TJ Perkins is fast emerging as one of the premier American junior heavyweights. After kicking around the SoCal scene for a few years, he was initiated into the New Japan Dojo in Santa Monica, where he developed quickly. He played up his Filipino heritage under the guise of Pinoy Boy and even enjoyed touring Japan. Instead of running ahead with that he became the masked Puma, similiar to the versions of Tiger Mask or Black Tiger before him. Puma is now one of the best prospects around with experience in not only Japan, but Mexico and a host of independent companies. His break seems to be inevitable, since he has improved so dramatically. Not only is his in-ring work becoming impressive, but Puma is becoming more colorful and more accomplished at handling himself in all facets of pro-wrestling. He might not be making a lot of noise out in Los Angeles, but Puma is one to watch in the next few years.
