Outlook - BJ Whitmer is fast emerging as one of the best indy workers in the US. His connections with Harley Race have helped his in-ring and given him the opportunity to work in Japan. He is of the Benoit ilk, like many indy guys in recent times, but has leanings towards a heelish Southern-style worker than Benoit ever did. The people who've trained him and the places he has wrestled have forced him to develop into more of a character than he probably ever would have become otherwise. BJ has a lean frame and average look, but Whitmer is better than the package might hint at initially. One has to suspect he'll continue to get the great chances he's gotten throughout his relatively short career and eventually something will click. Stylistically he's fine for Japan, but he definitely has the potential to be a good undercard for any American company that gave him decent people to work with in the ring.
