Outlook - The Shane Twins were a highly regarded tag team for nearly a decade now. They were a pair of muscled up twins with not much charisma or technical ability, but a great look. After spending much of their time in Florida, they began getting some breaks in Japan and NWA-TNA. The WWE took notice of them and put them in developmental for a while. When the duo were brought up, they were given Simon Dean as their obnoxious mouthpiece and were pushed hard on Smackdown. The Gymini, as they were called, were just never able to become more than a vanilla tag team with jacked up builds and a look strikingly similar to Goldberg. After their initial push pittered out, they were lost in the shuffle and an injury to Todd brought things to a stop. They spent some time rebounding in developmental, however their time had passed and they were let go. Amazingly, the Shane Twins are entering their forties and have yet to really catch on anywhere. While they still have some visual appeal, their opportunities seem to have dried up and they may never get the big push as a monster tag team that it seemed they might have gotten years ago.
