Outlook - Marty Jannetty is known to the world as half of the Rockers, which was the springboard for the legendary Shawn Michaels. The success of the Fabulous Ones in the early 1980s was duplicated half a dozen times throughout the decade and one was the AWA's Midnight Rockers. Jannetty was a slightly more experienced undercarder, who was an excellent wrestler in his own right, but Michaels always stole the show. The duo were one of the premier tag teams for the better part of five years and then they broke up and Michaels began his ascention to the top. Jannetty had one more stint feuding with Michaels before largely dropping off the face of the earth. From that point he had forget runs as half of the New Rockers with Al Snow and as enhancement talent in WCW. Amazingly, Jannetty rebounded in 2005 and was signed to a WWE contract. He is a pretty good worker after all these years and in his mid-40s years old, he still has enough steam to be given chances with the WWE from time to time.
