Outlook - Vampiro's ability and persona had him pegged as a superstar in waiting for people who saw him during his formative years in Mexico. He was given too much, too fast, but thankfully he had a charisma that had long transcended his in-ring abliity. Over time, Vampiro turned into a good worker. He transformed from a romantic vampire to a dark vampire, he introduced martial arts to his reportoire and people began thinking he had potential to make an impact in the US. It was WCW that brought him in, but he was stuck in the undercard and was never pushed very well. In time, Vamp was matched up with Sting and the Great Muta, Vamp was getting his break when a freak accident basically forced him into retirement. Since 2001, Vampiro has been wrestling sporatically, while pursuing other avenues. He continues to have a great aura and entertaining style, but is perhaps too banged up and disinterested to pursue opportunities outside of Mexico.
