Outlook - Ryota Chikuzen had a been working for a few years, mainly in lucha libre groups, before hooking up with Kaientai Dojo. His size and ability to work effectively as a big man against smaller opponents made him a nice addition to the young company's roster. He and other large men in the company began working together as a heel faction, which helped him develop further. In 2002, Chikuzen's career made a shocking jump when he became a regular in New Japan as part of the Makai Club. Although he was not pushed strong, the opportunity to work with a variety of veterans in one of Japan's premier companies helped Chikuzen. In K-Dojo, he has bounced between being a heel bully and a monster babyface and has worked well in both roles. Chikuzen is in his mid-30s, so his window of opportunity to make it to the big time is slowly shrinking. Ryota Chikuzen left Kaientai Dojo to head back home, perhaps to promote himself, so he will either reach new hieghts or drift away into obscurity.
