Outlook - Shigeki Doi has been one of the fastest rising stars in the Dragon Gate promotion since its split from Toryumon in 2004. Doi was part of the T2P group, but nagging injuries kept him from being the star they had him pegged as. He picked up a baseball gimmick as Second Doi and made strides, but his T2P peers seemed to be leaving him behind when they joined Toryumon Japan. 2005 was a big year for the young star, dropping his gimmick, changing his name, joining the top group and taking off during a feud with the Dragon Kid. He is one of the most promising stars for Dragon Gate in the next few years and a notable junior star.
