Outlook - Kazunari Murakami is everything that his mentor Naoya Ogawa could've been and maybe should've become. He was the fallboy for their team, but was definitely the better entertainer as an ass-kicking punk. Politics have made Murakami take a route similar to Ogawa's and it's a shame because he has great natural tools, but is disencouraged from honing them into pro-wrestling skill exclusively. His MMA career has been bad with no wins over credible opponents in the same weight class, but he continues to fight instead of wrestle regularly. Regardless, he usually steps in the ring a few times a year in intense angles and violent matches that have an aura about them that few peers can create. Perhaps there has never been a better semi-active pro-wrestler with as much ability as Kazunari Murakami.
