Outlook - Shigeo Okumura got his start in the sleazy Japanese independent underground. He was a traditional pro-wrestling stuck working IWA, Big Japan, Tokyo Pro and Atsushi Onita's various companies. Okumura was a solid hand and eventually got a chance with All Japan in 1998. The opportunity gave him some exposure and he signed with the company after the split in 2000. Okumura was in a good positioning it seemed. He had nearly a decade in the sport, was just shy of thirty and always looked decent. It just never panned out though, Okumura was stuck in the midcard in tag matches. After four years of this, Okumura left All Japan for Mexico City and he's finally seen success. Okumura is a Japanese rudo who works on the upcard of CMLL shows. He's adopted to the lucha style and is perhaps just hitting his stride.
