Outlook - Bob Sapp kind of had a slow start in the sports biz. After a short football career, he was looking to be the black Goldberg when WCW closed up shop. So, he trained for MMA and in 2002 made a big splash in Pride. Despite a big lack of skill, Sapp's brute strength was enough to crush his smaller foes. He even tried his hand at K-1 and would see his greater successes there. After a top-notch fight with Pride champion Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera, Sapp beat K-1 legend Ernesto Hoost not once, but twice. With a 2-1 records in both fight groups he tried his hand and wresting and in the end of 2002 became the biggest star of the year even winning the press's MVP award following only 2 pro-wrestling matches. While K-1 ran him dead and he's not a good pro-wrestler, Sapp has a level of potential that may still be ceased.
