Place in History - Hikari Fukuoka is one of those girls who was a really fun worker in the early 90s, who wasn't pushed particularly strong in the AJW-JWP wars, but she was on the brink. She was part of the Hi-chans (the future aces for JWP) with Okutsu and Yagi, but she was the only one to last. When JWP became arguably the best joshi company in the world, she was their top talent, worker and was luckily pushed to the championship. She could do everything from making any offense look good to just killing someone, it has been said though she couldn't work a match well (but that is arguable). In her prime, she was largely overlooked for various reasons, but many contend she was easily amongst the top ten in the world. She retired when the company was coming off the strong run and left behind her a wide variety of classic matches. Once the girl with the wacky offense at the interpromotional shows, Hikari's flair and working ability made her amongst the best talents in the world for a time.
