Outlook - Mariko Yoshida was just a talented Zenjo midcarder a few years ago and now she's one of the most highly regarded workers around. After jumping to ARISON in `97, expanding her lucharrific style to fit ARISON's style, Yoshida became to company's true workhorse. Combining lucha and shoot style, Mari-chan has proven to be one of joshi's most well-rounded stars. She was so good that she was made the head trainer for the company and has helped produce the likes of Ayako Hamada and noki-A, who are amongst the best these days. With all the problems ARISON has had, Mariko Yoshida has been the bedrock of the company and will continue to be so as long as she can. She seems like one if anybody who can stay at a high work level into her 30s, which seems to see joshi's great workers fall hard.
