Place in History - Legend has it, Tim Brooks was driving his cousin Dick Murdoch to a wrestling gig and somebody didn't show up, so he stepped in the ring. Tim Brooks really got his start in Detroit in the early 70s under the Shiek. He learned the craft of being a heel, of which he was one of the most violent and brutal of his day. His time with the Shiek set him up for a successful career with notable runs in the Northwestern United States and Western Canada, in Montreal and Upstate New York and all over Texas. Tim Brooks took so many handles too: "Killer," "Bad News," "The Outlaw" and "The Waxahachie Wild Man" and all were perfect for a gritty and tough brawler like him. After retiring from active wrestling, Killer Brooks opened a school in Dallas and enjoys his working class role after years in the limelight.
