Place in History - One of the most overlooked and underappreciated tag teams of all-time. The Fantastics, Tommy Rogers and Bobby Fulton, were the pinnacle of highflyer-type face teams. While many would note the Rock-N-Roll Express and Fabulous Ones before them, the Fanastics were perhaps better then either team between the ropes. They however just didn't get the breaks though and followed in the footsteps of both. The Fantastics were pushed strong in places where the RNRs had ruled a few years earlier and while their matches with the Midnights were as good and many would argue better, the magic just wasn't quite there in the same way. After touring around, the Fantastics headed to All Japan and became a tremendous foreign team. They competed in that hard style and were players when Giant Baba turned All Japan into the premier working company of the day. After that run, Rogers bumped around and had a decent run in ECW's undercard, while Fulton basically left pro-wrestling, though his brother (later known as George Hines) made a name for himself in All Japan. The Fantastics were a pair of super workers who were just a few years behind the times and missed out on the success that they richly deserved.
