Striking - A solid brawler, Quinton Jackson has certainly seen his share of streetfights. Jackson likes to work strikes in tight with punches and knees from the clinch while standing and is the typical wrestler using ground n' pound. On the mat, "Rampage" tears things up with hard knees from the side mount and rains down the punches.
Wrestling - An incredibly powerful fighter, "Rampage" knows fans don't pay tickets just to see a win, they want to see a fight. He does everything in his power to use his power and put on an entertaining fight with explosive slams and exciting teases.
Hooking - Though it seems surprising to those new to Quinton Jackson, he has actual won fights by submissions other than from beatings. Though his technique is second to his brute strength, if "Rampage" can hook an arm he will. But it is usually an opening he takes, rather than a strategic application.
Strengthes - Just entering his 20s, Quinton Jackson has as bright a future as any fighter. Just when the chips were really down for this break-out fighter, Pride picked him up and in one fight made him one of their top foreign imports to date. If "Rampage" continues to work hard and becomes a top notch fighter, he may be able to rival the man that made him - Sakuraba. He is already Pride's most entertaining interview.
Weaknesses - Jackson is an entertainer no doubt and remains well-protected since becoming a star. This means he may not have the stiffest competiton and his growth may be slowed, if not stunted. Jackson's youth is both a good thing and a bad thing at this point.
Outlook - His future's so bright he's got to wear shades. At such a young age for Jackson to fall in favor with the top MMA group in the world, he is really in the proverbial catbird seat. He will have a name to build and will definately be fed some wins, but in time Jackson may become one of the elite.
